Maci's labs that needed to go gown (BUN & Creatinine) are continuing to decrease. JOY! They did labs at 6 am and then again at 10:30 am. Just in that amount of time both the BUN and Creatinine went down. Creatinine today went from 4.9 to 4.32. Rick and I are overjoyed.
She is OFF oxygen completely now and is doing well on room air and she also got her NG tube (nasal tube for feedngs) out because she is going to town on a bottle! Yesterday she had to be coaxed a little to suck from the bottle but today was like a 180....she was even smacking! (which I had to explain wasn't very lady like LOL).

i absolutely cannot wait to hold her! I think when God gives us such precious little things and puts us through the trials that He has...it is because He wants to remind us to ALWAYS trust in him and be thankful....not that we didnt already, but this brings it all into a whole new prospective.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy to hear that Maci is doing better. I'll be by Friday to drop off a few "Happys" let me know if you need anything.
