Maci is now making the kissing sound. You can give her kisses and she will sometimes kiss back in the air. She doesn't bring her hand to her mouth and "blow kisses" or "throw them" but this is new for her. She's learning!
Last night I was carrying her to her room and she leaned to my neck and made the "mmuuaahh" sound. It was my first, unsolicited kiss from my baby! I was so excited.....and then Rick says "she's never done that to you before?" LOL. So apparently she likes her Dad more because she's been doing it to him for more than a week!
During bath time, for a good while now, I've let her drink water from the sprayer. Now, every.single.time. she is put in her bathtub and she hears the water running, she starts licking her lips wanting water!
She's becoming so much more vocal too.
I'm not sure if I mentioned in my last blog or not how she now doesn't mind tummy time where as before SHE HATED IT. A few weeks ago during hospital stay #2 she laid on her belly and fell asleep! She's continued to tolerate or like tummy time ever since.
That same hospital stay, she decided in the ER that she would suck a bottle for the first time in 6 or more months! She prefers water, will only drink up to an ounce, but she drinks it. So YES, I let my 14 month old suck a bottle of she wants lol.
She's just surprising us every day!
She also had her pictures taken yesterday. I will post a couple. I was pleased. I ❤ her so!!!
