Step #2 To Transplant SCHEDULED!

Since attending the transplant education class on 1/29, we had not heard another peep from anyone.  We were still unsure of what the next step was in getting Maci to transplant.  I called the lady who facilitates the education class yesterday and left a message.  The number I had called two previous times and left a voice mail was apparently NOT her direct number (which would likely explain why I had not received a return call).  I found her direct number on a letter and left a message yesterday and got a call back.  She was a bit surprised that we had not heard anything from anyone else, told us our next step should be to meet with the transplant surgeons and she would find out and call me back.  She called back today.  We meet with the transplant surgeons next Wednesday at 3:00!!!!!  Another step.....near future.....rolling right along.  YAY! 
I do not know what all is involved with this meeting but I will be sure to update after the meeting.  I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO ready to get my baby girl her kidney!
