No Earth Shattering News Today

Maci has slept most of the day today.  She is up to 50 mLs of milk and takes about half by mouth and the rest is tubed.

Her hematocrit is low (31) so they didn't do lab work yesterday or today and will wait until tomorrow morning to do any.  If her hematocrit drops below 30, that's when they talk about giving a transfusion.

The last time she had blood, several people went and donated blood in Maci's name to replace what was used for her since birth.  Rick and I appreciate those folks who donated!

Rick is taking a field trip tomorrow so I am staying the night with Moo.  This will be the first time for me to spend the night with her.  :)  We may stay up ALL night.

Everytime I hear this song on the radio while at the hospital (Maci listens to country during the day) I sing the chorus to Maci.  It makes me think of my Moo.

When you're weak, I'll be strong
When you let go, I'll hold on
When you need to cry, I swear that I'll be there to dry
your eyes
When you feel lost and scared to death,
Like you can't take one more step
Just take my hand, together we can do it
I'm gonna love you through it.
