Hematocrit - 30.4 (up from last time which is good!)
Sodium - 139 (up from last time, also good)
Potassium - 4.6 (up from last time, good)
BUN - 6 (down from 9, fabulous)
Creatinine - 1.85 (up just a tad from 1.83 which is still ok)
Maci is also tolerating her increase in dialysis - volume is now 90 mLs. WOO HOO
Her doctor today and tomorrow is Dr. Elabiad - he was the MD who was here when Maci was transferred to LeBonheur on December 1st. I really like him and it was nice to see him back.
Yesterday was her last day with Dr. Goodwin. Maci and I sure will miss "Dr. Joi". She'll be back in February but I am thinking (and hoping) we may be home by then.
This is a pic of how Maci gets her hair wrapped after a bath. One of the nurses demonstrated for us and Rick and I couldn't help but laugh! We love the nurses here!!!
Maci is really starting to do more and has become more active. Rick and I notice differences every day. She has much more control over her hands and is starting to reach and grab more. She's gotten even better with holding her head up and moving it around from side to side and she is pushing up on her elbows and pushing up with her hands more frequently. It's so much fun to watch her grow!
Her eating is about the same. She will take an entire bottle by mouth unless she is just wiped out. She generally always drinks at least half....the rest is "down the tube". It's also nice to have her awake more during the day. :) I <3 my Moo!
