Who is like You among the gods, O LORD? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, awesome in praises, working wonders? Exodus 15:11
Maci's dialysis will now be 10 hours instead of 12 and will go from noon to 10 pm with 90 mLs solution sitting for 30 mins before draining for 20 minutes vs 15 minutes. All great news!!
I think the goal is for 8 hour dialysis, minimum of 100 mLs.
Maci has been awake some this morning and playing. I love to hear her coo and make sounds.
Tomorrow is National Pancake Day! I'm looking forward to seeing people tomorrow night. If you are joining us at 7:30pm at IHOP Southaven please let me know. You can text me if you'd like at 901-301-0505. (Just ER to tell me who you are ;) so I'll have a name with the text). I want to give the manager the courtesy of a panic attack early instead of when we all show up. I think this is a great way to visit and to throw some extra change (ha ha like so many of us have extra....but you get what I'm sayin) to benefit Le Bonheur. This hospital is an AMAZING place, full of some tremendously talented people. They treat my baby girl like she is the only child in the NICU. It makes us feel special. It's how they are.....it's their way of treating all these babies. I'm not sure how other children's hospitals are (and I hope I never know from personal experience) and knowing that LBCH is ranked in the top 50 nationwide in several specialties....they are #1 with me!!
Each night before we leave, we say prayers with Moo. We've always said thank you and asked to bless our family, asked God to be with and bless the NICU babies and all of the children in the hospital and to heal those according to His will and plan. Recently, I've added a thank you and please bless the doctors, nurses and ALL the staff at Le Bonheur. They are each important from the physicians to the nurses to cafeteria employees to the secretaries to the ones who clean and restock supplies. I want Moo to know that no matter what a person chooses as a career or the job they perform....it's in some way important.
Thank you all for the continued support and prayers. It is not my prayers alone that have gotten Maci to where she is today in her journey. We still have a ways to go but after losing sight of the light at the end of the tunnel due to setbacks, we are now back IN the tunnel and "pressing on" to borrow Dr. Ault's phrase.
Love, Hope & Moo
