All Is Well With Moo

Surgery & G-tube clinic went well.  I also took samples of Maci's drains from dialysis by the dialysis unit on my way to her appointment.  Her drain bag this morning was clear of any "floaters", the fluid was clear and they felt like she was A-OK and there wasn't a need to test her samples.  Had the "floaters" not been small and circular but long and stringy....or had the fluid not been so clear, they would have sent them to the lab.Whhhheeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.  To speak Madea, HALAHLOOYER!

We had lunch with Tonya (thank you Tonya) after leaving LeBonheur and ran into one of my favorite high school friends, Kecia Helminski.  Keesh, if you are reading this, it was WONDERFUL seeing you today and I am glad things are going well for you.

When I got home, a RT from Methodist Alliance was here waiting for me to download info from Maci's apnea monitor.  Her apnea monitor almarmed twice last night.  The last time, the alarm lasted longer than any other time and I hit the floor running and was up out of bed so fast I gave myself heartburn!  The monitor has not been adjusted since we have been home so they advised that it is highly likely that because Maci is older, her resting heart rate is slower than it was when we came home from the hospital and just needs adjusted.  They needed a doctor's order to make any changes so I called Dr. Verma's office, her Pediatrician.  HE called me back, like he always does....just one of the reasons why I like him so much.  He was perfectly fine with sending over an order but wanted the data downloaded first to see what Maci's heart rate actually was when she alarmed.  He said if it's dropping to 50 or 60, lowering the alarm limit wouldn't make a difference and he wants to be sure her heart rate isn't dropping too low.  He is so awesome.  So the guy from Methodist came out this afternoon instead of somone coming on Monday.  I thanked him several times because they could have waited if they had wanted.

Maci is Miss Popularity this week.  She had another visit from one of her NICU nurses tonight, Shyama.  This is the first time we've seen her since coming home from the hospital (the last time).  She works nights so we don't get to see her when we visit the NICU during the day.  I neglected to get a picture too, dangit.  All the more reason to make her come back!

Maci gets more visitors than I do so I told her earlier that she needed to learn to crawl or walk so she can start answering the door herself.  ;)

Several robberies in Southaven lately at gas stations.  Someone is driving up and taking purses from vehicles as you are out pumping your gas!!  When you get out to pump, LOCK YOUR DOORS!  I said earlier that if anyone was to steal my wallet, they would be ticked off at the waste of their time.  I'd yell to them to keep on, take it, have fun buying your THREE ITEMS AT THE DOLLAR TREE because I ain't got no moneyyyyyyyyyyyyyy Sucka!!
It would be a pain replacing SS cards, DL and Maci's insurance cards.
So ladies in Southaven, BE CAUTIOUS!

So, all is well in the World of Moo.
Until the next entry, adios.

Maci said she wanted to dress pretty today.....
Wore out from clinic and lunch.
