I am trying so hard to document things here on the blog. One, to share and two, for Maci. Did you know you can turn your blog into a book? Check it out.

It may cost me $1000 by the time I am ready to print but at least I have the "stuff" to share with Moo, one day. I am very thankful that it will be shared with her, that she will not remember this time!
Last week, Maci learned to spit. When she gets sick, when she's done...anything that may be left in her mouth, she spits. We are still trying to get her to eat baby food without gagging and now that she has this newly discovered talent, guess what, she spits her food. YAY!
Getting her to eat is a battle. She loved to eat before her gag reflex was so easily triggered. She started vomiting all the food she ate plus formula. After a brief break, I tried letting her eat again....PUKE. So, after another short break, she will take the food, not as eagerly as before but then she spits it. So out of three bites of baby food, she MIGHT actually eat one. I will continue to try.
She fell asleep on her play mat earlier....only the third time ever that she's napped without being held (since being home). **pic below**
This is a video that my friend Sarah and fellow kidney mom made. It contains all kidney kids, including Maci. I am part of a kidney mom group and these little faces all belong to those moms. If you could explain your child's life being dependent on someone else's kindness through organ donation, this is it!!! Click on Kidney Kids to see the video.
