We received news today (earlier than expected) that RICK IS A MATCH for Maci. A friend if mine was also tested and he too is a match!!!
What a blessing to have one match but to have two matches is a small miracle.
Rick will begin his physical testing soon. To know that he will give Maci the chance at a better life, off dialysis is surreal.
To know that someone else is happy to "be on deck" if needed, to give his kidney too, is more than humbling to me as Maci's mom.
This experience could have been much more difficult but I am thoroughly convinced that all of the prayers that have been said on behalf of Maci and our family have been heard.
As the Bible tells us and I witness daily through Maci......
Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. Matthew 18:19-20
If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. Matthew 21:22
One verse that I've had to consistently remind myself of......it's more of one of His promises:
Philippians 4:6
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Again and again I thank you all who follow Maci, who think of her, who pray for her. The Lord hears you and he continues to bless my little Moo!
