Clean Out Those Closets!

I do believe it's safe to say that Spring has sprung.  I sure hope so because my winter clothes are packed away and now stored in the attic!  I have started my Spring cleaning.  Have you?

Some very kind friends, Tina Brazil James and Wanda Boone Doyon are still in the midst of organizing and gathering items for the June 8th "Maci Moo Benefit" Parking Lot Sale to be held in the parking lot of LRP Studios, LLC (thank you Lori Payne!).
If you have any items sitting in your closet, garage or storage that are taking up space and you would like to get rid of them, we would happily take it for the parking lot sale.

There will also be a raffle and tickets will be available for sale soon once there are photos of the available items.  Raffle item donations will continue to be accepted through the first week of May if you would like to make a donation.

I appreciate SO VERY MUCH the help, the kindness and offers for my family.  This has been financially difficult, especially since my unemployment has ended.  :(
These fundraisers help my family pay bills, such as rent, utilities, groceries, and medications that we do have to pay out of pocket ($40-$50 monthly) that are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid.  Fortunately all of Maci's medical bills are covered.

I want to again, thank a high school friend Melinda Ellis for submitting Maci and my family to be featured on a segment of Pass It On that is seen weekly on WREG Channel 3.  Maci, Melinda and I will be on Pass It On May 7th at 10pm, Channel 3.  By being selected, my family received $900!  I have already paid rent for May and will also be paying another month at the end of April.  This will put us one month ahead in rent.  THANK YOU MELINDA!

More new/good news for this week:  Rick begins his "medical work up" in two weeks to check all of the things necessary to clear him for surgery and to enable him to get the full clearance to give Maci a kidney.  We do not expect anything to come to light which would prevent him from having the surgery but prayers would be appreciated all the same.  :)

Thank you all SO much!
